For years we have talked about somehow connecting our love of travel with our desire to stay busy during our so-called ‘retirement’ years.  We often dream of rental homes in Italy, France and Spain sharing our experiences with old and new friends as well as family.   But those ‘retirement’ years are still a long way off.

So in the meantime… here is our next project.

This site is all about sharing travel ideas - adding that extra special piece to our next vacation - the kind of thing that we will never find on line.    Not the top 10 attractions – that’s easy.  It’s all about the unusual, out of the way or just plain special things.

Our objective is to create a community of travelers who are willing to share ideas and in return who will benefit from other’s ideas.   We are hoping to create this community through our network of friends, family and business associates.   And by telling someone you know, we are hoping this community will grow to the people they know as well.  

Who are we?  David and Karen Barrett – living in Port Credit, Ontario.  David in the Project Management and Business Analysis training and conference business, Karen managing the training business. Four kids.  Skiers, tennis players, golfers, road bikers and travelers whenever possible.
