Climbing Kilimanjaro and Safari: climbing to almost 6km above sea level is an experience not to be missed. With the snows of Kilimanjaro expected to disappear by 2020 lots of people have this experience of climbing one of the highest peaks in the world on their list. We spent a lot of time training and preparing for this adventure – making the decision to take a longer route up the mountain to allow of acclimatization and take our time to enjoy the views and experience. All of our group made it successfully to the top – it was an exhilarating experience. We rounded out the trip with a safari to the Seregenti and Ngoro Crater park for 6 days – experiencing a range of accommodations from camping on the plains to luxury lodge. www.tusker.com
