Driving Down Under To See The Three Sisters

Description
Looking for an adventurous day? Try renting a car in Sydney and drive up to the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains. Getting there is half the fun if you normally drive on the right side of the road. Bring a camera, binoculars, a light weatherproof jacket, some beverages and munchies for the mini-journey. The Three Sisters are a spectacular site that you will truly appreciate once seen. You may even be fortunate to see some aborigines in full costume playing their Didgeridoos.

We selected to take the train out to the Blue Mountains – 2 hours form Sydney’s Central Station – easy and inexpensive. Once there, we boarded the Red “Hop Along” bus that allowed us to get off at any point and tour about. This gave us more freedom than a guided bus tour and more direction than driving ourselves.

I heartily agree! Who knew there were such beautiful mountains within a day's drive from Sydney? My wife and i took a bus tour and it saved the hassle of driving on the "wrong" side.

P.S. it would be fun to post photos on the site so we could see each other's travels.
