Sailing the Greek Islands – we chartered a 51’ foot sail boat and joined a flotilla of boats to sail around (circumnavigate) the Cyclades. Flying into Athens for a couple of days of touring we then joined up with Poseidon Charters (based in Hudson Quebec) for 2 weeks of glorious island hopping. Half way through we left the boats in Ios and took the ferry to Santorini for a couple of days of off boat time. We were in harbours most nights for fun on the island and dinners out. A couple of nights we had BBQs in a private cove or a feast on board. Steve is a Canadian sailor but fell in love with Greece and joined the two loves to create a wonderful Greek experience. He offers cabins on the lead boat (a 60’ yacht) for those not familiar with sailing or that don’t want to skipper their own boat, others join in to form a flotilla experience. www.poseidoncharters.com
