Airports as Art Galleries

Description
If flying through Vancouver International Airport (YVR) make sure you spend a little time checking out the artwork.

And if you are lucky enough to be arriving at YVR from outside Canada take the time to check out the art as you walk down into the customs hall. Easy things to miss are Susan Point's Spindle Whorle (behind you as you go down the escalator) and the "stream" flowing between the escalators - look carefully and you will see in the stones the images of salmon swimming upstream.

The most beautiful entry into Canada I know of through an airport.
