I travel between 80,000 - 150,000 miles a year and the handiest thing I ever discovered was the site www.flightstats.com.
I can set up flight alerts to my mobile. My family or colleagues can track my flight in real time and;
But, the greatest bit is how their online site supports PDA browsing.
When I land wherever I am, I instantly go to www.flightstats.com from my PDA and check the status of my connection. I often know *before* the airline gate staff about gate changes and delays. I can even check inbound aircraft and other status.
It's a critical roadwarrior tool
