Description
Try an apartment – Lobster Cottage – a really interesting and typical Ligurian stone house with large garden and hanging grape vines (we picked grapes for breakfast). There is a wonderful terrace with a view of rooftops, the church and the hills (see picture). While it has a kitchen we did not use it as we were within walking distance of lots of wonderful restaurants. I liked being in a residential area, plus were were close to the start of the walking path to Monterosso.
The owners, who do not stay on premises are very nice and will arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the train station. This is a lovely town and we saw a few places that looked interesting, but we did enjoy this one - just picture yourself sipping wine on the terrace!
