Osteria del Porcellino

I’ve been to this place each of the last three times I’ve been in Florence. The first time was a result of a recommended to my brother and I by a friend of the owner Enzo.

We went there that night with our mum and Bill and Enzo guided our food and wine selections to ensure we all had an authentic, and fabulous, meal - it was an evening I'll always remember.

Try to get a seat outside in the back – smaller and a little quieter, it feels like you are in a special area reserved for friends of the owners. We had such an enjoyable time that I ended up finding my way back on subsequent trips to Florence and every time the meal and hospitality have been fabulous.
