On Via Aggionti which runs parallel one street up from the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Wonderful food; some thought it expensive but we did not find it to be. Definitely try the antipasto trolley! Generally, in fact, rely on their trolley for the main course and dessert too – you will not be disappointed and you can have a bit of each of the main course meats - rolled pork, veal roast and a veal stinko (which was heavenly).

After all the food you will definitely need to walk - so walk the old city and check out the museo to view Piero’s frescos. To be truthful though we did note that a little vin santo with carucci was a perfect pick-me-up.
