Finally I have found a nice hotel in London at a reasonable price! K+K Hotel George in Earls Court area. Not a huge room but they never are. Great lobby with bar, restaurant and the internet connection I am using to enter this. Free wireless in the room as well. Wonderful gardens out back with sitting area. One small block off the busy streets so very quiet but easy to get to - just 2 minute walk from Earl's Court station.
Not the cheapest in town - we are paying about 157 pounds +VAT but I have not had much success for less. This price did include breakfast for both of us!
