I was really impressed by the landscape of the Badlands National Park in South Dakota (http://www.nps.gov/badl/) until someone told me that I should check out the Grand Canyon. Instead of the mule ride, however, I opted for an airplane tour from Las Vegas. It is difficult to appreciate and visualize the magnitude of the Grand Canyon’s sheer size until you fly over it! I would definitely recommend it to anybody who will be visiting the Las Vegas area.
