This was the most amazing part of our trip – guided or self-guided walking tours of the City. One of the best we did was a tour of the ‘Lanes’ in the City. Maybe 1 hour only. You have to start at the Information Centre at Federation Square and ask for the small brochures on the 4-5 walking tours. Other tours include Architecture of Eastern Melbourne, the Commercial side of Melbourne and the beautiful Botanical Gardens.
