Description
Ste. Anne is a long drive - Tremblant is crowded, tends to be cold, icy, and expensive. Have you considered the Eastern Townships. The skiing is great - the hills are all WAAAAY bigger than Blue Mountain, lots of diversity and closest hill is 45 minutes drive from downtown Montreal (Bromont). Bromont has a great deal that you buy a ticket that is valid for so many hours after your arrival, as opposed to it expiring at 4 pm, like most places. And if you buy over the internet for more than 2 people you save a few dollars. At Sutton you can pay $35 to SportsExperts to try out all sorts of different skiis - they are right at the base of the hill, so very hassle free. Sutton has lovely tree runs with loads of moguls. But those can be icy and rocky - don't take your best skiis.
