Even if football is not your game – you have to experience this very local tradition. Australian Rules Football is very different than any North American version. The sport is fast, non-stop and very rough. The fans are fanatical and great to watch. You don’t have to experience the whole game. We bought $20 ‘general admission’ tickets and only arrived at half time. There is lots of room and half the game was enough. We stayed until the end – and the best was yet to come… the fans of the winning team get to sing their team song – and only them. Very fun!!
